Can
AI models take on social and ecological responsibility for their further
development? How can we contribute to strengthening ethical standards in our
relationship with Artificial Intelligence?
AI-based solutions have overwhelmed our imagination, generating fears of automation, job loss and disinformation. Global players responsible for its development are adding fuel to the fire, trying to implement new solutions at the speed of light, leaving little room for reflection and social dialogue.
The presentation will demonstrate individual elements of its ecosystem and their impact on the natural environment and social tissue to raise awareness of the potential risks and benefits associated with AI development. Following the words of Vandana Shiva, an Indian philosopher and eco-feminist, who says, "Regeneration is about building bonds, solidarity and caring. It is a process that restores our ability to live in community with others and with the planet that nourishes us”, I will answer the question if AI models can take on social and ecological responsibility for their further development. I'll also talk about how we, as individuals, can contribute to strengthening ethical standards in our relationship with AI.
